1st Wednesday Family Night
The first Wed. night of the month, Trinity holds “Family Training Nights” for families who have children from birth through 6th grade. This training is open to those who attend Trinity, and is also open to those from the community so families are encouraged to invite other families to join them..
Children whose parents have come for the training will receive special instruction. 3 years through Kindergarten go through a special video curriculum, and grades 1-6 students have training from special guest speakers. Each night they’ll learn a new skill and will also hear testimonies of God’s work in the trainers’ lives. There will be nursery available for children younger than age 3 (by Sept. 1).
While children receive their training, the parents hear special speakers on a number of topics designed to equip them to spiritually parent their children. The training is designed to help make parents more confident faith teachers for their child by giving them tools to put into practice at home what they’ve learned in the training sessions.
(Note: Children may only attend the training if their parent is in the Parents’ Training.)
