Enjoy the sounds of Christmas at Trinity's annual program. The adult and children's choir, worship teams, bands and orchestra present a Christmas offering of praise. This is a gift to the community so please invite others.
At its core, worship is our expression to God in response to His love and grace toward us. This involves our attitude and heart given over to Him in humility and awe of His character. We gather on Sundays to worship together corporately as an overflow of our individual worship throughout the week. The worship ministry at Trinity is growing and expanding with the desire to utilize all of the arts in our worship gatherings.
Worship Bands
Made up of rhythm section instruments (drums, guitars, keyboards), these bands are on rotation playing every third weekend. Rehearsals are at 7 pm on Thursday evenings in preparation for Sunday morning. A year commitment, interview and informal audition are required.
Worship Teams
These teams of 3 (soprano, alto, tenor) are utilized from the choir and aid in worship rotating for Sunday morning gatherings. Rehearsals are 7 pm on Thursdays in preparation for Sunday mornings. There is a year commitment with an interview and informal audition required.
Choir
This group is seen as worship leaders supporting all of the congregational music as well as singing special numbers in all morning worship gatherings on an average of two Sundays per month. Rehearsal is at 6:45 pm on Wednesday evenings. There is a year commitment and no audition is required.
Orchestra
This group of string, woodwind and brass instruments accompanies the choir for special gatherings and programs as well as occasional offertories. Rehearsal is generally held on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm. There is a year commitment and an interview is required.
Sound
This team is responsible for running the soundboard and recording of the Sunday morning gatherings. Some technical background is important with a good ear for balance. Rehearsals for Sunday mornings are Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm. A year commitment is requested and training is provided.
Projection
This is a perfect place for someone who would love to be involved in the worship ministry but does not feel musically gifted. These skilled people support the worship experience with projecting the words and images for the congregation to follow. It involves rehearsals on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm in preparation of Sunday worship. There is a year commitment and training is provided.
Interior Decoration
This artistic group designs and decorates the worship center and lobby for seasonal as well as weekly gatherings.
Fine Arts
Too often artists have limited opportunity to express their love for the Lord through their art. Trinity’s annual Art Gallery held in August is a place to display work for the greater body to enjoy.
