Worship Ministry
At its core, worship is our expression to God in response to His love and grace toward us. This involves our attitude and heart given over to Him in humility and awe of His character. We gather on Sundays to worship together corporately as an overflow of our individual worship throughout the week. The worship ministry at Trinity is growing and expanding with the desire to utilize all of the arts in our worship gatherings.
Worship Bands
Primarily made up of rhythm section instruments (drums, bass, electric, and acoustic guitars, keyboards) and vocalists, with occasional auxiliary instruments such as horns or fine stringed instruments. Rehearsals are at 7 pm on Thursday evenings in preparation for Sunday morning. A year commitment, interview and informal audition are required.
Choir
This group of senior high teens through adults is seen as worship leaders supporting all of the congregational music as well as singing special numbers in all morning worship gatherings on an average of two Sundays per month. Rehearsal is at 6:45 pm on Wednesday evenings. There is a year commitment and no audition is required.
Orchestra
This group of string, woodwind and brass instruments accompanies the choir for special gatherings and programs as well as occasional offertories. An interview is required.
Sound
This team is one of the most vital as it is responsible for running the soundboard and recording of the Sunday morning gatherings and the occasional special event. Some technical background is required. On-the-job and additional training will be offered and in some instances required for everyone. Rehearsals for Sunday mornings are Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm. A year commitment is requested and training is provided.
Projection
This is another vital team for Sunday morning worship. In a technology-savvy culture, these skilled people support the worship experience with projection technology, making our offering to God visual as well as audible. The projection specialist works closely with the worship band and other ministries including rehearsals on Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm in preparation of Sunday worship. There is a year commitment and training is provided on an ongoing basis.
Interior Decoration
This gifted and artistic group works closely with the ministry leadership by designing and decorating the worship center and lobby for seasonal, holiday, and special events.
