Youth Ministries

It's hard to believe how fast this summer has gone. It has been filled with fun, new opportunities, and great people. Summer is always a great time to relax, rest, play, and get ready for another year of school. As I sit here writing this, I realize how little time I have spent getting ready for this next year. Preparing for all that will happen here at Trinity, in my home, and in my own personal life.

More importantly, I realized how little time I've spent preparing my relationship with God for the upcoming year. Time to read, listen, pray, meditate, and worship with God. How about you? Have you taken time to prepare for this year? Are you asking God how he wants to use you, what He wants to teach you, how you can be His hands and feet? If not, there is still time, summer is not over yet! With these last few weeks take time to get ready, you will happy that you did!

Enjoy His Presence today!

Trent

Trinity’s youth ministry is called “F.U.E.L.”, which stands for “Faithfully Unashamed Examples in Life.” We believe that all youth watch adults' examples, lead by example and are examples to people in their lives. Our goal at Trinity is for the youth to come to a place in their life that they would be unashamed to live their lives in such a manner that is faithful to God and live it out in a way that their example leads others to Christ.

Theme Verse:

Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping Him with holy fear and awe. For our God is a devouring and consuming fire. Hebrews 12:28-29

Our Vision:

Shining the light of Jesus Christ so others may come to know, love and follow Him.

Activities

We offer a wide range of youth activities in order to teach and engage our students. On Wed. and Thurs. nights, a large group setting is offered with worship and a message. Sunday mornings there is Sunday School for all ages covering Bible basics, in depth Bible studies and biblical life issues. Sunday evenings is a time for small groups. Groups are separate for Jr. High and Sr. High, and separate the girls and guys.

Events

Beyond the weekly activities, we offer three retreats during the year: fall, winter and spring, and a missions trip over spring break. A wide range of activities are available for the youth to connect with each other outside of normal church functions. On the fourth Friday of each month, a Jr. High Blitz is held at a student's home, and gives the Jr. High time to hang back and just be themselves. On the fourth Saturday of each month, Tri-Bean Café meets in the Trinity Student Center for Sr. High students to hang out and meet up with friends. In addition to these events, there are even more happenings during summer break. (Valleyfair, camping, all-nighters, State Fair, etc.)
